Just add your kitchen scraps to your yard clippings and compost happens! Adding compost to Florida’s sandy soil provides much-needed organic material and improves its water holding capacity. Join us to learn about the composting process and what types of materials can be successfully composted. Workshop participants will receive a free plastic compost bin courtesy of Pinellas County Utilities Solid Waste Operations Department. This workshop is free. Pre-registration is required.
